State jui jitsu championship
Academy of Martial Science (AMS), affiliated to Mysore combat sports association (MCSA) hosted
the 1 st ever Karnataka state Sports Jiu-Jitsu grappling championship in city on 28 th of April at Decatlon
premises, Bannur Road, Mysuru. The event was sanctioned by Sports Jiu-Jitsu federation of India
and supported by the state body. Around 100 athletes from Mysuru and 100 athletes from various
parts of state in the age group of 6 to 35 years, both male and female participated in the event. Close
to 20 clubs from across the state participated. Over all championship trophy was won by Academy of
Martial Science, Mysuru followed by Kimura Martial Arts and fitness in the second and Yoddha school
of martial art, Bangalore in the third place said Kru.Vikram, General secretary, MCSA, according to a
