Rajesh.G – Silver medal. He lost to host Thailand in the Finals. He is the first person from Mysuru to have won a silver medal at the world championships.
Samarth Vikram – bronze medal in 10-12 yrs, 40-42 kg weight category. He lost to New Zealand in the semi finals. He is the youngest fighter at 11 yrs so far from Mysuru to have fought in the world championships and win a medal.
Syed Touseef Ahmed fighting in Senior male Welter Weight category lost to USA in the pre quarter finals.
Rashi.R fighting in Senior female Pin weight category lost to Turkey in the quarter Finals.

The Indian team was led by Muay Thai India (MTI) President Mr. M.H Abid and other technical officials. Vikram.M.N of city headed the team as the National team coach. The proud Indian team returned with 2 bronze and 1 silver medals for the country.
